About Erin Taylor
My grandfather was career Air Force and he and my grandmother lived in Florida where he was a semi-pro golf player. My Granddaddy was one of the few people that I knew that took pictures all the time and he carried a 110 camera with him at all times. Thinking back now, in the age of film photography, he really was very rare! Photography was not a hobby for him but more of a habit. He took pictures constantly while he was away from my grandmother and he would send the film home to her to get developed and that was how he kept her close to him and let her know what he was doing when he was away from her. When my parents would take me to Florida to visit my grandparents my favorite part was sitting at their kitchen table listening to my grandparents tell stories and pulling out all of their pictures. I love stories and I loved looking at pictures. That love is where inspiration and love for photography comes from. I love to photography people and tell their story through my images. Whether is be the story of a couple’s first meeting as told through their engagement images, or the story of their future as told through their wedding day coverage. I am a storyteller and I am honored every time a someone chooses me to tell their story.
