A New Design! Posted by Erin

Back in January I mentioned that their would be a new design from me to look forward to—my Photo Stamps!  This month I will be sending out ads featuring a bridal themed stamp featuring my previous client, Heather.  I hope you enjoy it!  And remember, book your engagement session, bridal session or wedding and you just may be featured on my latest postage stamp!

I’m looking for two couples planning destination weddings to participate in a special etp project!

Maybe you’re planning a cruise, a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, even heading to another State or Country for the I Dos. I need two couples who would be willing to participate in a few pre- and post-wedding sessions to be testers for a new package to be offered in 2010. This will not affect your wedding at all, I will not be photographing your wedding (unless you wanted me to!) this is simply for pre- and post-wedding sessions. If this sounds like you or if you would be interested, shoot me an email, give me a call or leave me a comment!

Because too many families are separated by deployments Erin Taylor Photography is offering  special sessions for the loved ones of deployed soldiers. Book a Deployment Darlings Session from now until Memorial Day and give your sweetheart something to look forward to while they are deployed—-the gift of you.

If you are the girlfriend, fiancée or wife of a deployed soldier (or maybe guys you have a girl over there fighting for our country), shoot me an email, give me a call or post a comment to book your personal one-hour on-location Deployment Darling Session.  From now until Memorial Day book a Deployment Darlings session and make your soldier’s day with some new portraits of you to hold him off until you can be together again.

All sessions will be held on-location in an area local to you.  Most sessions will be done at Hodges Gardens in Florien as that location is very close to Fort Polk and convenient to those most likely to want to participate in this event.

For the past couple of years I have been mailing out print ads, rather than just keeping it strictly email.  Because everyone likes getting a pretty picture in the mail instead of a bill it has really been a hit and everyone always talks about how much they look forward to the next card!  And imagine the surprise of some when they see that they are the star of the current ad!   That’s what my photography style is all about.  Making my clients feel happy, special and excited to see what I do next!  Whether it’s an advertisement for my latest bridal beauty look, new engagement session offerings, a showcase of the latest awesome wedding I photographed or announcement of my upcoming projects!

Which brings me to my latest announcement!  Not only will my clients be on the lookout to see what the next ad card brings but now they will be excited to see the subject of my latest postage stamp!  Yes, that’s right!  For a couple years I have been promoting the fabulousness of Photo Stamps and suggesting that everyone try them out, especially when sending out your save the dates, engagement and shower invitations and most importantly when mailing out those ever important wedding invites!  I know, Photo Stamps are little more expensive than just going down to the post office but really, when putting postage on those RSVP postcards would you rather save a dollar or two have pineapples and other assorted fruits on your 27 cent stamps (sorry USPS, but those are *gasp* yucky!) or something personal as seen here:

Love Stamp

Those on my mailing list will have the pleasure of receiving their annual February ad with this personal Erin Taylor Photography Love Stamp.  Enjoy and be on the look out for my next Photo Stamp creation!

Well, how about being featured in a wedding BOOK? I was recently asked by one of the businesses I work with to put out a fine art wedding book and now, once finished this book with be on display in a number of wedding-related businesses area this area and state. I am looking for brides (or past brides still storing their wedding dresses) to help me put a fresh spin on my work. In the past all of my brides (as well as myself) have been bound by what is traditional or what it expected (even though I tend to stretch the limits pretty often) but this book will feature brides who are fun, fearless and not afraid to break tradition. If you would be interested in being part of this special wedding book, either as a model (non-brides and your special guy are welcome too!) or by providing a dress contact me asap!

My first album design! Posted by Erin

So as most of you know I have been super-busy this summer and working non-stop (and those who know this probably know because I have been with you!).  Well, the summer rush seems to be slowing so I took a little time to actually design an album!  This is my first coffee table book and I chose one of my favorite bridal sessions from May of this year to design around and really had a lot of fun doing it!  So take a look, let me know what you think and maybe my next album design will belong to you!

So there you go!  I will be taking this week off (I know—*gasp*!).  My baby is turning 1 this weekend and I have to be mommy and put my clients for on the back burner for the week.  But I will be back in full force next week!

Hello Current and Future Clients!  It’s a New Year and a new Erin Taylor Photography.  My new website will be up soon and in the meantime I am going to try my best to join the world of photo blogging.  I am staying super-busy (and loving every session!) and have a lot booked for the coming months.  So make Erin Taylor Photography an every day habit and check back daily to see what I am up to!  Who knows, maybe you will log on one day and find your own session featured!
